Thank you notes for the graduate- tips, tricks and encouragement

Congratulations to your graduate! As a parent, it is time to celebrate this big achievement. I know when my oldest graduated last year, there was a whirlwind of events leading up to the ceremony and then it seemed nonstop for weeks afterwards. We had out of town guests, a big party and lots of preparation to handle before his next phase in life. We didn't do it all alone though. There were lots of people to thank along the way.

Look back
Before you get too distracted with all the parties and future plans, you need to block off time and have your son or daughter look back. Remind them how much they have to be thankful for. Your child may have graduated, but their homework is not over. Thank you notes are an important part of this transition.
